Duke/Durham Chess Club
The Duke/Durham Chess Club meets on Sunday evenings in Meeting Room B of the Bryan Center on Duke University's west campus. Frequently there will be a USCF-rated, multi-round G/120 event in progress, with one round per night. Rounds typically start at 6:45 PM.

NC Open Results
DDCC members performed phenomenally in the 2009 NC Open in Greensboro. In the U2000 section, Brad Martsberger and Tim Rankin finished in a 2-way tie for first with 4 points each (out of 5 rounds). In the U1800 section, Steve Pizzo took clear first with 4.5 points, while Josh Taylor finished tied for 3rd with 3.5 points. In the U1600 section, Bill LeFew finished in a tie for first with 4 points. Congratulations to all!
